Criteria of Eligibility:

Must be a resident in the municipality

Must demonstrate an urgent need for food assistance due to financial hardship, disaster, or crisis.

Households with unemployed or underemployed breadwinners.

Displacement or armed conflict requiring immediate food support.

Homeless individuals and street dwellers in need of nourishment

Qualifying Crisis Situations

Applicants may be eligible for food assistance if they fall under any of the following categories:

a. Economic Hardship

Individuals or families who are financially incapable of providing food for themselves.

Households with unemployed or underemployed breadwinners.

Families experiencing severe economic distress due to job loss, illness, or sudden financial crisis.

b. Disaster or Emergency Situations

Individuals or families affected by natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, floods, or landslides.

Victims of fire incidents, displacement, or armed conflict requiring immediate food support.

Evacuees or individuals in temporary shelters due to calamities.

c. Health-Related Crisis

Malnourished children and individuals suffering from severe undernourishment.

Pregnant or lactating mothers in nutritional distress.

Patients undergoing medical treatment who require food assistance due to financial incapacity.

d. Social Welfare and Protection Cases

Homeless individuals and street dwellers in need of nourishment.

Victims of domestic abuse, human trafficking, or other forms of exploitation under the care of social welfare institutions.

Orphans, abandoned children, or elderly persons under temporary protective custody.
