Cash Relief Assistance
Assistance for individuals affected by fire incidents, calamities or other emergency situations.
Criteria of Eligibility:
Must be a resident in the municipality
Must demonstrate an urgent financial need due to a fire incident, calamity, or other emergency situations.
Families who lost their homes, sources of income, or essential belongings.
The family belongs to a low-income household
Survivors of domestic violence, abuse, or human trafficking needing financial relief.
Qualifying Crisis Situations
Applicants may be eligible for cash relief assistance if they are affected by any of the following:
a. Natural and Man-Made Disasters
Fire incidents that resulted in the loss of home, livelihood, or essential belongings.
Natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, floods, landslides, or volcanic eruptions.
Man-made disasters such as armed conflict, terrorist attacks, or structural collapse leading to displacement.
Evacuation due to environmental hazards, forced demolition, or other unforeseen crisis.
b. Sudden Economic Hardship Due to an Emergency
Individuals who lost their source of income due to a disaster (e.g., farmers affected by drought, workers displaced due to calamities).
Families whose primary breadwinner has died or suffered severe injury or disability due to an emergency.
Individuals needing immediate financial aid for basic survival needs (e.g., food, clothing, shelter).
c. Vulnerable and At-Risk Individuals
Families with young children, pregnant or lactating mothers, elderly members, or persons with disabilities (PWDs) who require urgent assistance.
Survivors of domestic violence, abuse, or human trafficking needing financial relief.
Individuals in protective custody, shelters, or temporary housing due to a crisis situation.
Requirements
- Updated Original Certificate of Indigency from Barangay with proof of low income
- Valid ID (Photocopy)
- Marriage Certificate or Birth Certificate
- Incident Report from BFP, LGU or disaster response agency
- Medical Certificate (if the applicant or a family member was injured in the disaster)
